There is much been said about Christianity as a religion. Salvation, Evangelism, Bible, Church, Praying, Doing good, etc. Those things make no difference between Christianity and other world religions. What makes Christianity different is relationship. Jesus Christ gave us his Spirit that we will have personal relationship with him. He is knocking to our door and wants to be our best friend. Friend, who does not judge us for what we do, but loves us for who we are. He laid down his life, that we will be righteous in the eyes of our Heavenly Father.
We don't need to try to be good anymore to please our God as religions teach us. We just need to have friendship with our Saviour and that frienship will transform us. His love and his Spirit makes us new creation.
